When re-registering Host to Satellite, the operation fails. This host is reporting a "HTTP error (422 - Unknown): This host is reporting a DMI UUID that differs from the existing registration".

Resolution

A HotFix is available for Sat6.5.2, while Satellite 6.6 has this flaw fixed.

Installation Instructions of the 6.5.2 hotfix: This applies to the Satellite:

1. Download this HotFix
2. Install: yum localinstall tfm-rubygem-katello-3.10.0.55-3.HOTFIXBZ17422041747177.el7sat.noarch.rpm
3. Restart: satellite-maintain service restart
4. Resume operations
