client (Client_name); is not properly configured on the NetWorker Server

Error:

While starting the backup for a client on the networker server we hit with following error:
Error: 'Cannot start session with server <Server Name>: client `<Client Name>' is not properly configured on the NetWorker Server'

Cause:
During the troubleshooting we find out that Client's all alias name is not updated under aliases list of the client machine.


Resolution/Fix:


Ensure that the client name as configured on NetWorker, is referenced on the Aliases field

Add all alias names of the client in aliases list under client configuration

That is Under Client properties > Global (1 of 1) > Aliases
