How to install IIS on Windows 10

IIS is included in every Windows installation but it is not enabled by default. I'll describe how to install IIS in Windows 10.

1. Right-click on the Windows button on the bottom-left corner and select Run.

2. In the Run dialog box, type appwiz.cpl and press OK.

3. Once the pop up appears, Click on the Turn Windows features on or off.

4. Click on the Internet Information Services checkbox. Click on OK.

5. Click on Close when it displays “Windows completed the requested changes.”

6. Now open your browser and type in localhost and press ENTER. Your default web page will be shown up.
