How to to check if you have unclaimed amount with LIC in 5 steps

There is As much as Rs 15,167 crore amount of policyholders is lying unclaimed with 23 life Insurers as per IRDAI. Insurance regulator IRDAI has asked life Insurers to identify the policyholders or beneficiaries to disburse the Claims. If you have Policy with LIC and want to know if you have  unclaimed amount with LIC then follow these procedures.

1. Go to LIC website.
2. Once you are there in the website, go to Customer Services Section.

3. Hover you mouse on Customer Services Section.

4. You'll see an option "Unclaimed amounts of Policyholders".

5.  Once you click on that option you'll get following webpage.

Fill in the LIC Policy Number if you remember that.

Fill in Policy holder's name (This is mandatory)

Fill in Policy holder's Date Of Birth  (This is mandatory)

Fill in Policy holder's  PAN Card

Once you've fill this information please click in the submit button. You are all set now.
